Mix

I had been having fun. I painted my toe and fingernails and I don't like painted nails. Like when it falls off, I strongly feel that I cannot carry the grunge look well. Strictly nude colors though. Ok so much for the nails. Work was feeling someone turned the hands of the clock whenever I wasn't looking 'cause Time (my rare commodity) seemed to spiral off without a trail. Thanks to Timmy who barbequed most of my prawns for me at a chalet few days ago. I may just fall dead with clogged vessels due to high cholesterol one day but it is still going to be all worth it. Cycling was fun too. The closest I can get to nature would probably be when I'm cycling at night. We attended b. event today, ate pastries and drank fruit punch. Lust over the newest range but with n-o- intentions of getting. However it was an overwhelming sense of accomplishment when we lugged home so many paper bags. I got a snake ring and I really like it. I'm getting a pair of shoes on ebay which both of us really like too. Aloysius totally like the surprise present and I gave myself away because I couldn't control my laughter - Timmy had it told anyway. He gave each of us a hug and today was the first time in many months that I felt that we are a complete family. Though after cake-cutting was everything reverting to normalcy - the cold war, the short-lived togetherness was what I had wished for. Then Mom drove us and Cousin Melly for Pig Organ Soup. That and the fondue we had earlier on made my day. P.S. And I'm waiting for Tuesday to make my day too.
School is starting in one week's time. Even the kids who think that they are too cool for school should still appreciate this one semester they have been left with.
Edit: I can't find the 2 yet finished old skl bubble-blowing-through-straw that Timmy had bought for us ytd. Don't tell me my mom threw it away! She kept nagging it causes throat cancer.

Blessed

TO: BellyBoy
Happy Fourteenth Birthday. It's Good To Finally Know You Shut The Toiletdoor When You're Bathing Now. You Had Put Shandy And I In Great Peril All These While. P.S. We Did See Something Something. It's So Fun Watching Shows With You 'Cause We Both Know We'd End Up Having Fun Doing Mimic. Timmy And I Had Spent 1.5 Hours Few Days Ago Just Sitting Down To Wrap Your Present - The Present Which You Had Blantantly Asked For By Asking Me To Check Out What Had You Put Down As Your MSN Nick. On Your Thirteenth I Said You Brought Me Much Joy. You Still Do You Know!

A heart that's full up like a landfill
A job that slowly kills you
Bruises that won't heal
You look so tired, unhappy
Bring down the government
They don't, they don't speak for us
I'll take the quiet life
A handshake of carbon monoxide

No alarms and no surprises

F is for Friends

Sep. 8th, 2007 | 12:29 am
mood: blahblah

Point 1
Please let all these pimples be as ephemeral as the doughnut phenomenon!!!
Late nights. Fried food. Anger.
Ok! I felt one more popping up! Just kidding.
Water didn't do the trick liars.

Point 2
I was telling Timmy i'm gonna state in my profile "I'm the kind of girl who doesn't bring tissue." until I discovered my mummy had stocked tissues in easy packs in my cupboard, for the first time in many years. (Because his friend exclaimed some time back, "What kind of girl doesn't bring tissue!?")
I think I'm going to be "the kind of girl who brings tissue" for now. For now as long as the stock lasts.

Point 3
Barbeque & Wii session at Mercy's house with Timmy, Pong, Pepsi, Corny, Kind-friend, Eddy, Jandej (2nd bf), and Mercy's bf tomorrow after work. Spells fun.

Patrick's so completely wasted, after drinking killer shots, beer, liquor.. He regurgitated fluid that smells like hawaiian pizza to us. And answered shitload of their nonsensical questions.
"What goes up and never comes down?"
"Kelvin x 10 to the power of 8 m/s! Kelvin x 10 to the power of 8 m/s!"
"No, what goes up and never comes down!?"
"Valerie. Valerie doesn't come down."
(Yeah.. I didn't know that.)

We were all amused and bemused by his spontaneity of answers that night.</div>

Cool as a cucumber

Sep. 1st, 2007 | 07:23 pm
location: bed
mood: hungryhungry

I read this somewhere today: “If all the world's water were to be fit into a gallon jug, the fresh water available for us to use would only equal to about one tablespoon. “
It is such a disconcerting piece of news. I was right for railing at my sister earlier this afternoon then, for not making sure the tap is tightened properly. Isn’t it so? Wasting water is similar to letting them run through your fingers like sand? It’s even sad to know that by 2025, there will be around 50+ countries facing shortage of water. It is our downright duty since we should still be very much present on the face of earth. I don’t think any of us can imagine life without water. Getting a glass of drink comes so automatic to us, so naturally, and glitch-free, unless you have butter fingers. Maybe we should get Anya Hindmarch to design words on glasses, like “This is not a glass of water”. And the same sub-text, “We are what to do”.

And let me quote Ani Difranco who said, “Must there be a disaster before enlightenment?”

Well, the truth is: Water wastage? I’m guilty as charged too. :(

"The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity." - Margaret Nadauld
