I had been having fun. I painted my toe and fingernails and I don't like painted nails. Like when it falls off, I strongly feel that I cannot carry the grunge look well. Strictly nude colors though. Ok so much for the nails. Work was feeling someone turned the hands of the clock whenever I wasn't looking 'cause Time (my rare commodity) seemed to spiral off without a trail. Thanks to Timmy who barbequed most of my prawns for me at a chalet few days ago. I may just fall dead with clogged vessels due to high cholesterol one day but it is still going to be all worth it. Cycling was fun too. The closest I can get to nature would probably be when I'm cycling at night. We attended b. event today, ate pastries and drank fruit punch. Lust over the newest range but with n-o- intentions of getting. However it was an overwhelming sense of accomplishment when we lugged home so many paper bags. I got a snake ring and I really like it. I'm getting a pair of shoes on ebay which both of us really like too. Aloysius totally like the surprise present and I gave myself away because I couldn't control my laughter - Timmy had it told anyway. He gave each of us a hug and today was the first time in many months that I felt that we are a complete family. Though after cake-cutting was everything reverting to normalcy - the cold war, the short-lived togetherness was what I had wished for. Then Mom drove us and Cousin Melly for Pig Organ Soup. That and the fondue we had earlier on made my day. P.S. And I'm waiting for Tuesday to make my day too. School is starting in one week's time. Even the kids who think that they are too cool for school should still appreciate this one semester they have been left with. Edit: I can't find the 2 yet finished old skl bubble-blowing-through-straw that Timmy had bought for us ytd. Don't tell me my mom threw it away! She kept nagging it causes throat cancer.

TO: BellyBoy Happy Fourteenth Birthday. It's Good To Finally Know You Shut The Toiletdoor When You're Bathing Now. You Had Put Shandy And I In Great Peril All These While. P.S. We Did See Something Something. It's So Fun Watching Shows With You 'Cause We Both Know We'd End Up Having Fun Doing Mimic. Timmy And I Had Spent 1.5 Hours Few Days Ago Just Sitting Down To Wrap Your Present - The Present Which You Had Blantantly Asked For By Asking Me To Check Out What Had You Put Down As Your MSN Nick. On Your Thirteenth I Said You Brought Me Much Joy. You Still Do You Know! FROM: DaJie

Point 1 Please let all these pimples be as ephemeral as the doughnut phenomenon!!! Late nights. Fried food. Anger. Ok! I felt one more popping up! Just kidding. Water didn't do the trick liars.
Point 2 I was telling Timmy i'm gonna state in my profile "I'm the kind of girl who doesn't bring tissue." until I discovered my mummy had stocked tissues in easy packs in my cupboard, for the first time in many years. (Because his friend exclaimed some time back, "What kind of girl doesn't bring tissue!?") I think I'm going to be "the kind of girl who brings tissue" for now. For now as long as the stock lasts.
Point 3 Barbeque & Wii session at Mercy's house with Timmy, Pong, Pepsi, Corny, Kind-friend, Eddy, Jandej (2nd bf), and Mercy's bf tomorrow after work. Spells fun.

I read this somewhere today: “If all the world's water were to be fit into a gallon jug, the fresh water available for us to use would only equal to about one tablespoon. “ It is such a disconcerting piece of news. I was right for railing at my sister earlier this afternoon then, for not making sure the tap is tightened properly. Isn’t it so? Wasting water is similar to letting them run through your fingers like sand? It’s even sad to know that by 2025, there will be around 50+ countries facing shortage of water. It is our downright duty since we should still be very much present on the face of earth. I don’t think any of us can imagine life without water. Getting a glass of drink comes so automatic to us, so naturally, and glitch-free, unless you have butter fingers. Maybe we should get Anya Hindmarch to design words on glasses, like “This is not a glass of water”. And the same sub-text, “We are what to do”. And let me quote Ani Difranco who said, “Must there be a disaster before enlightenment?” Well, the truth is: Water wastage? I’m guilty as charged too. :(

I go to a lot of stupid websites. And this is one I found at www.seriouseats.com - submitted by an anonymous bystander at a pittsburgh lunch counter. Fwah, so cool. I hope someone at any eatery give me bad service so I can do this too!

It was one of the usual days last month where I'll commute home from school. I'd usually put on my iPod earpiece - gaze around or just shut my perverse pair of wandering eyes. Well that day, I chose the former. And that was when I spotted a group of teens entering the cabin at RedHill station. My eyes flew to this particular guy like magnetic strips; The navy tee he was clad in caught my attention instantly (nope not his gaunt frame).
It says: I HAVE NO JOB, NO CAR, NO MONEY, BUT I'M IN A BAND. I liked that shirt instantly! People with (wits and) optimism gets an extra star. I feel happy that such people exist. There, my cookie crumbled just the way I didn't like it when I try working out the light of my situation. The situation which, have thereby, decided that I'm not fit to wear that shirt because I AM NOT IN A FUCKING BAND.
(Thanks to Rong I'm going for an interview at Haji Lane tomorrow. And no thanks to Daphne who said round heads think better than square ones.)

Supposed to be out shopping on a fine Tuesday like this but it just had to rain. Blame the umbrella blame the damn umbrella. Anyway, it’s not that bad getting cooped up in your own room & own mess. So cosy. The best part of yesterday was getting the portrait he did on me after waiting for an eon. All of our friends think it looks pretty like me, so I have to say, “You’re Good.” Well, only if you really drew it based on memory & not by seeking any "online reference". I still appreciate it alot though, and it's up now on the walls of my cupboard. :) Thanks tmnt. And we registered for driving together yesterday. I’m itching to know who gets the liscense first! After saving many pictures of Beth Ditto, shoes, bags, berets, cadets, Beth Ditto.. I’m tired and bored. I’m going to pick up my book now. I’ll talk again at night. It’s the holidays! I’m so bored I might just update this space every day.

(I scratched my face accidentally in the middle of a daily chat with my sister) Shandy: Your face is bleeding! Valerie: (/touches face & reply calmly ) Oh, sometimes you bleed just to know you're alive.
As much as things isn't going on too well for us, I'm still doing self-checks to make sure I do not become/look too much of a pro-emo activist or a teen with angst. Right now, I still laugh with my friends and have great meals together. I still have a bright, clear forehead (no long bangs) and a pair of clean (unmutilated) arms. I'm still keeping my eyes peeled for better tomorrows.
Well dyk? Harry Potter died but revived in the last book. Oh, and he also got married (with kids). Sorry if you are an avid fan & have not read it! I am not an avid HP fan but I do have one of the books I bought years ago. Yes, yet read! Maybe one of these days..

I can really do better than 5 plates for tomorrow’s sushi buffet. I can even, probably, just outdo you. I can write a list of thank you’s. But atop everything else is the you tolerating my petulant behavior (if it's not bad, it can get worse) and making me break into smiles in front of my computer screen over and over, as a lover and as a friend. ‘Cause no one will surprise me unless you do.

And it's Starbucks and not Mcdonald's we studied at!! Omfg!! (Inside joke) Mercy: Fuck full. Hinhan: F lot. Kelvin: All my friends are kind. Me: Am I your friend? [Repeats]
I'm seeing things - I read "often" as two separate words just now. Okaye, off to continue mutilating my notes with my almighty luminous yellow highlighter!
